Embedded Objects Corrupting...

G

Guest

I'm embeding multiple word documents within one word document via the
following:

Insert > Object > Create from File > Browse to and select word document >
Select Display as Icon checkbox > OK

The document appears to embed, but when I try to access the embedded
document, I get the following error:

The instruction at "0x6508ba31" referenced memory at "0x00000070". The
memeory could not be "read".

The problem was not happening yesterday...

Any ideas?

That error means there is a bad sector on your hard drive and the
information you want was saved to that bad sector...so it is probably
no longer available.

Open Windows Explorer and RIGHT click on your C drive. Click
Properties > Tools and run a disk check to find/possibly fix any hard
drive errors.

Also...before you do that, it would be a good idea to clear your TEMP
folder. See this article for that info:
