I would think that anything you try to do would rely on worksheet protection.
And that's easily broken.
And I can use a multitude of free tools that would allow me to copy your icon
and do anything I want with it.

But you're wasting time when you should be working <vvbg>!
I bet the worksheet is protected. You could try unprotecting the worksheet.
In xl2003, it's Tools|unprotect sheet
but you may have to supply a password.
If I remember my time wasting exploits, I bet the answer is in a cell in a
hidden column. If you can't unprotect the sheet, maybe you can use this trick.
Tools|Options|transition Tab|check transition navigation keys
Find an unlocked cell (the one where you type the answer???)
or start a new worksheet (or a new worksheet in a new workbook).
Type =
and go back to that sheet.
You should see the hidden columns. So scroll until you find the answer column.
And remember to turn that transition setting off. It'll be problems if you
don't!
