Hi everyone,

Is there any possiblity to embed a button in email? so that when the
receiver of the email clicks the button, an auto email is replied back
to sender.

Thanks

Check with your ISP (Internet Service Provider), you may have one without
knowing it. Several ISPs have something similar, like AOL which has a
checkbox for Return Receipt.

Are you using an email client or web mail ?

If you are using an email client such as Outlook 2003 then its called mail
notification, you can enable this as follows :

1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
2. Click E-mail Options.
3. Click Tracking Options.
4. Select the Read receipt or the Delivery receipt check box.

Beaware that the email recipient can decline to send reciepts back to you.

Hope that helps ?

Are you just interested in the "Receipts" feature? This enables the receiver
to automatically acknowledge an email received.

I'm using Email client outlook 2003, but my requirement is beyond the
reach of Tracking options, say i need when the user receives the email
, he will choose one of the two buttons in email to send message to me
as 'yes' or 'no'.

Thanks.

If you know your user is using Outlook as well, then you can add Voting
buttons to the email. However there is no guarantee that a random email
client will run any code you embed - it may just be seen as a virus and
blocked.

Would be interesting if you could tell us exactly what you are trying to
acheive by this.......

Your clients can't hit the Reply button and type "Y" or "N" in the
contents area??? I'm all for automation, but this is ridiculous.
