Emails with Attachments

I would like to export 350 HTML email messages -- each with a TEXT email
message attached to it -- using the [File] - [Import and export...] -
[Export to a file] method (or any other method) such that the content of
each HTML email message and that of each attached TEXT email message are
exported.

Is there a straightforward or suitable workaround method for doing this?

Thanks!

You can drag & drop all the mails out of Outlook and into an Explorer
window. This will create msg files with the attachment still in it.

Tips of the month:
-What do the Outlook Icons Mean?
-Create an Office 2003 CD slipstreamed with Service Pack 1

OK, but then how do I convert the 350 MSG files and the 350 attached TEXT
files into one .txt file?

Thanks!

Steve

Ah, well that is a whole different issue :-) There isn't a direct way you
can do this in Outlook. Perhaps the programmers in outlook.program_vba can
help you with writing a macro for that.

Good Luck!

1. Drag & drop all the mails out of Outlook and into a folder. (This will
create .msg files with the attachments still attached.)

2. Use programs like those from www.a1soft.com to extract either text or,
in my case email addresses, from both the email messages and the attached
text messages.

Thank you to all the people who pointed me in the direction of the solution!
