emails to distribution lists not being sent

I have no idea what's happening here, but for some reason my emails to
distribution lists are not going anywhere, even though they show as sent in
the sent items folder. I've tested the rest of my email and it works fine,
but I have included myself in each of the lists and neither I, nor anyone
else in the lists gets anything. Any idea what's happening here?

If they're in the Sent Items folder, that's a fairly good sign that your
outgoing mail server accepted the messages. This means that the problem is
most likely on the server.
 
Thank you Brian. I've already checked with godaddy, my host and email
account server and they said that there was no problem. Would it be
something I should check with Southern Cal Roadrunner, which is the company
that manages my internet connection?

Of course they say that. It doesn't make it true.

Enable diagnostic logging (exactly how is version-dependent and you
neglected to include that information) and if it's an SMTP server issue
you'll have proof.
