emails do not go out

I receive all mails and can surf but when sending mail the Error
message" Outlook cannot connect to sending server" 0x80042109

Can anyone help ?
 
You'll get help for Outlook problems faster in newsgroup:

microsoft.public.outlook.general

Mention which version of Outlook you have, and that you are
running it under Vista, in case it matters.
