Emailing a workbook with links

I have created two new workbook sheets that have links to cells in other
sheets within the workbook. When I emailed the document and tried to update
the information from the workbook that was emailed, none of the links worked.
Why? They all now reference a workbook in a temporary internet file even
though that is not where the file was saved. This may seem like a stupid
question but I have never experienced this before. Any help, please? Thanks
so much.

I've never seen this happen either.

Any chance that the recipient of your original email screwed around with your
workbook--splitting it up into different workbooks???

If you email it to yourself, I bet you don't get the same problem.

Maybe the workbook got damaged when sent. Try to zip the file.
