When I send an email the cc shows the names and addresses. Can someone tell
me how to send mail, coping several others without showing the copied
contacts address?
 
Use the blind carbon copy BCC: field.
If you don't see it in the compose window, click on View - All Headers
 
The problem with that is when the people on the bcc list receive it, they
think I made a mistake and sent it to the wrong person when they get it and
their name is not on the address.
 
AFAIK, that's the way most, if not all, email programs work....
They've probably seen this before.
 
Then don't use BCC for those fussy recipients. :-)
You can't have it both ways, recipients hidden or not hidden.
 
A common abbreviation meaning "As far as I know."
Just put AFAIK in the Google search engine, and the first hit is
the appropriate one.
