Please help us to help you. First, what E-mail client are you using?

Second, what does "I cannot" mean? What happens when you try? If you
get an error message, please quote it verbatim.

I am using Charter.net email with Windows mail. When I try to send a message
with let's say 6 pictures attached to it, the send/recieve process takes a
considerable amount of time longer than normal and then I get the following
error message:

An unknown error has occurred. Subject '', Account: 'pop.charter.net',
Server: 'smtp.charter.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '421 charter.net
Lost connection to [24.178.143.44]', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error:
421, Error Number: 0x800CCC67

I hope this helps. At first I thought that I was trying to send too much
all at once so I cut it down to one photo and the same thing happened.

Sorry Sam, I didn't realize that I was not in the correct forum. Maybe you
could inform me on where to post?

Disable any antivirus program and any other 3rd party programs that you have
and then see if that fixes the issue. See point 3 here and the part on
WinMail -- www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 . There are only a few antivirus
programs that are compatible with it.

I'm just gonna be honest guys... I don't see it! Call me a dumbass because
it's probably right in front of my eyes and yes I can appreciate a smartass
any day of the week. Just help me... I wouldn't be here if I wasn't an idiot.

See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 (point 3 and the section on WinMail). Many
antivirus programs are incompatible with WinMail and need to be uninstalled.
That might be the problem you are experiencing. Also update to Vista SP1 to
ensure you have the latest updates to WinMail.
