I want to email a web page I have just created in front page to a group of
1500 business contacts, stored in the Act! business database. I do not wish
to send the email as an attachment, but have the page be the first thing they
see when they open the email. Any clues?

1500 emails? That could be construed as spamming (i.e high volume).

It would be easier if you publish the web page, because if you have frotnpage
features requiring server extensions it won't work and you'd have to send them
all the files involved with the 'site' e.g. html, asp, scripts, images, you name
it for them to view the site properly - unless it is just a white page with black
text, in which case you may as well send it as text anyway.

Those html emails you see around are actually sites hosted *somewhere* on a web
server just like any other site.
Email html clients are limited in this regard to viewing html pages they are not
full-blown browsers.

Why not just publish it and send them the link to the web site?

Also what about those who can't view html emails, or choose not to - they won't
see it at all, or just a lot of gibberish (html code probably) in their 'text
only' view of their email client.

If the people you send it to *can't* see the html email, then give them an
alternative - such as a link to the web site.

that's crap

Which part? I don't see any helpful suggestions from you, just knocking back
suggestions from others who were trying to help the person out.

As far as I know what I posted was correct from my own experience.
