Email typing problem in Outlook 2003

Hi

When I type an email in Outlook 2003 I have to wait up to a minute or more
for the type to actually appear. Does anyone know what might be causing this
delay? it is very frustrating because I can't complete a thought or sentence
until the type appears! It might be relevant to tell you that I am using
stationery picker. I wonder if this is behind the strange behaviour?

Go into taks manager and try to see what program is using chunks of your
processor.

Hi Dave

The only things I can see using CPUare my system idle process and AVG virus
scanner. The system idle process is taking the lion's share. Is this right?
And could it be causing the problem?
