Email timestamp changed

One of my users is using Outlook 2003 on Windows XP Pro SP2.

I have tried moving emails manually from one .pst file to another. When I
do so, it is changing the dates on these to all the same date which is the
incorrect received date, and not even the current date.

Does anyone have an idea of why this is happening and how to fix it? Thank
you very much.

How are you doing the moving?
