How can I make Windows Mail a shortcut on my desktop?
On your desktop, double click on Computer, then C:, then
Program Files. Scroll down the list to Windows Mail, then
double click on it. Find WinMail.exe on the list if it appears,
or WinMail otherwise. Right click on it, then click on Create
Shortcut, then approve putting it on your desktop. Close the
windows created during this process, and you should be able
to see the new shortcut.
