email receipts

I am trying to use the delievery receipt function sometimes they come in and
go to junk mail and other times I can't find them at all. Am I not getting
them? I have even tested sending emails to myself to test this function with
no luck. Any ideas?
 
Delivery receipts are often denied by external mail servers to prevent valid
addresses collection. It's not an Outlook issue and you can't do anything
about it really. Note that the delivery receipt often is redundant. When a
message can't be delivered, you'll get a notification anyway. It's very
unlikely that mail servers have those notifications turned off.
