email notification for yahoo and hotmail accounts to popup automat

I want my vista computer to notifiy me of any emails i receive when they are
sent to my email address
 
I'm also interest on nowing how can I get vista to notify me when I get a
mail sent to my hotmail account... can anyone help?
 
I've seen this thread elsewhere but with no answers so I thought I echo the desire for an email notification program for vista that will work for hotmail and yahoo email accounts. I've tried several that say they work with vista, but I can't make them work. Thanks to anyone who can lead me in the right direction.
