Email not working after adding a user

I decided to add my son on as a separate user to my computer so that I can
restrict his internet access. After adding him and password protecting my
profile, I can no longer receive or send email (his profile is not set up for
email). It says that it is unable to connect to my email servers. The only
way to get my email is through the webmail program on the internet). I tried
deleting the email accounts and re-entering them. All of the settings in the
email accounts are as they were before. I believe it has to do with password
protecting my profile, but I can't figure out how to fix it. Any ideas?

Normally simply adding another user has nothing to do with email. It
sounds more like in your quest to limit your son you did some other
parental control actions - installed parental control software, set up a
proxy (which is what would cause issues with your email) etc. Since we
don't know what you did....

Malke,
I never touched the Norton Anti Virus, except to set myself up as an
administrator. Perhaps it is in Norton that I need to look. Any suggestions

on where to start? Maybe I will just call their tech support.

If you are using some sort of parental control function of Norton, then
yes - you'll need to look at its Help files or contact their support.
Since I wouldn't have any Norton products on any of my Windows machines,
I can't help you with where to look.
