outgoing server. Has this email account worked properly
and then suddenly it stopped or did you just set this
account up? This error could be caused by a number of
issues. Incorrect server login settngs, firewall, lost
internet connection, and others.
Without knowing further details, I would suggest that you
go to Earthlink's support site and confirm that you are
using the correct SMTP server settings.
