email font

How do I change my email font and have it stay that way alwasy --everytime I
close out it goes back to what it was.

From the windows mail:
tools - options - select 'compose' tab and set your preference there.
Remember to hit 'apply' before you hit OK.

I'm on an XP machine right now but think that the process is similar.

Connie, this did not work for me. the font under compose is correct,
however when I go to create mail, the font is different. Am I missing a
default somewhere?

Are you using stationery?
Any font defined in the stationery oveffides the default.

To assign your own font to stationary you need to create your own stationary.
Choose tools / options / compose. Click the create new button. Choose the
picture/stationary you like. Click next and choose your font. When you're
done click finish and Voila!
