email folder parameters

After deleting and re-installing my Wordperfect program...
when I tried to open my microsoft "Mail" folder, I
receieved the following message:

"Unable to display the selected folder or item; could not
complete the operation. One of more parameter values are
not valid"

What do I do to reset the parameters or values and/or
validate them? Right now, Corel 8 settings is the only
option given

Swen virus, all e-mails sent to my actual account will be deleted w/out
