email disappearing from inbox after I send a reply

I have no idea what is happening here but cannot figure out how to correct
the problem. I use outlook for my email and starting this morning, every
time I reply to an email in my inbox, the email I replied to disappears from
my inbox and I cannot locate it. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thank you.

Did you really mean "outlook"? If so, you're in the wrong forum.
This forum (newsgroup actually) deals with the Windows Mail program.
Outlook issues should be posted in the Outlook newsgroup:
