I have a customer who has email setup on Exchange Sever 2003. Every time he
receives a email it sits in his inbox for about a minute but deletes itself
shortly after. Here is the thing!! It does not move to the deleted folder
at all. I have to go to tools and recover deleted items in order ro get it
back. i can not figure out what was turned on to make the emails
automatically delete, but i want it turned off. If anyone can help i would
be so grateful!!

I'll bet it doesn't. What folder is he examining when this happens. If the
Unread Mail folder, it's intendde behavior. If the Readiong Pane is enabled
and the Reading Pane attributes are set to mark messages as read after XX
seconds, then the message will be marked read and disappear from the Unread
Mail folder (since it no longer is unread). It will still be in the Inbox,
however.

If this is happening in the Inbox, then he had the "UInread Messages" view
selected and the same mechanism is at work. He should make sure his view is
"Messages".
