email attachment

I couldn't download an email attachment. Got the
message: "OE removed access to the following unsafe
attachments in your mail......"

Who/What is OE? And why did it remove access?

OE is short for Outlook Express.

This newsgroup is for MS Access, the database product. If you have further
questions about Outlook Express, ask your question in one of the newsgroups
with outlookexpress in the name such as

microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress

go into OE's security options and you will see a checkbox for "disable
opening of attachments/files that may be harmful to your computer" 'TAKE THE
CHECK OUT OF THE BOX" close OE then open again and attachment will be
available.

Microsoft has white papers in their support section, do a little research on
the "how do i run my application" before posting in the wrong group. so
people don't start slamming you!
