Email an Excel file (automatically) or scheduled

I need to be able to send an automated email everyday to one address,
with an Excel file as an attachment.

I do not want to have to rely on Outlook, it's installed on our
computers, however we use Lotus Notes (with an intranet) to send email.

Are there any tools that can do this?
