In Vista Windows Mail the email addresses of multiple people I am sending an
email to shows in the reciptients mail next to their name. I can't find
anywhere to turn this feature off. It is embarrasing to have their email show
up on others Inbox,, even though I send most by BBC

If all the recipients are put on the BCC line, when that email is received,
the recipient won't see any other recipients.

Thank you. I do that now, but put at least one adressee in the 'to' box which
then shows not only the name of the person but the full email address as
well. Wheras with XP this did not happen.

Outlook Express (on XP) didn't show YOU the email address, but all
recipients could see it, unless you used the BCC field.

It is customary when using BCC addressing to put your own email
address in the To line.

Remember that what you as the composer sees while composing
isn't necessarily the same as what the recipient sees. The recipient's
email program makes its own decisions as to what to show and what
not to show.
