You don't. I hate to say just lean to ignore them, because you will quickly
pick up the bad habit and ignore something that you don't want to ignore.

What is annoying about it is you know there is something that tells the spell
check to ignore the wavy red underlines under had had so there has to be a
way of making that apply to hush hush or Walla Walla.

If you are using "hush-hush" as an adjective, it requires a hyphen (and Word
will not mark it if you add one). If you are using it to calm a child
("Hush, hush"), it requires a comma, which will also pacify Word.
