I use Windows XP and on my previous computer (this is a new one 4 weeks old from HP) I am always asked to sign on with a Password.

I just click enter and it continues, but I like to totally eliminate this "interruption".

Help me to accomplish that again. Thanks

Goto Start, Run and type "control userpasswords2"
Then under the users tab, uncheck Users must enter a username/pass to use this computer"
Then press ok and Enter your username/password

Or

Alternatively, you can use TweakUI for Windows XP to do this.

Thanks, I downloaded the TweakUI and it now works fine.

Good suggestion. I forgot, that I had TweakUI on the older computer.

Thanks again
