Eject without notice

I have a DELL Latitude with Windows 2000 as OS. Sometimes
the system gives a notice that it's goin to prepare to
eject even without given the eject command in the start
menu.

This problem was also noticed by other users. Is there a
solution to this problem?

No known solution, just be sure to slide the cockpit canopy open in time to
avoid head injuries.

Sorry, can't provide further links ... having problems searching the
site ... too busy I suspect.

Some of them seem to indicate that replacing the battery does the
trick.
