EFs

I am using vista ultimate on notebook and desktop. I have same efs cert on
both. Why then can't I sync the two files sets, ie docs and such. I get an
error unable to copy?

Wroked with MS and they said that the efs is designed to work on domains not
workgroup environments. Since I am on a workgroup there it is not possible.
The reason is the users and efs certs are managed from the domain server.

If they said this why is it in the operating system, why are there a handfull
of articles out there talking about EFS in windows xp pro and how it will
keep your house, car, and kids safe? Stupid microsoft crap you were problaly
talking with the Indians, I had to call them the other day and found myself
explaining to them what EFS was and how it worked for over 3hrs.
