Effectiveness

I just downloaded microsoft's antispyware beta and ran
it. It found 2 instances of spyware. I then ran spybot
search and destroy behind it and spybot found 32 instances
of spyware that microsoft missed. What's all the hype
about how good this product is?

Could you give us a specific run down of what Spybot found? If its cookies,
its well known issue that Microsoft AntiSpyware beta 1 does not detect
cookies.

spyware and tracking cookie is two different thing.
please read the help section on both Microsoft
antispyware and spyware search and destroy so you have a
better understanding on both things.
