editing theme colors

I am trying to change a background on a Theme. (BoldStripe) which alternates
light and medium grey stripes. When I edit the backgound per the help file,
it changes all the color to a solid green (my choice) What file can I edit to
change the grey shades to green shades.
 
You will need to edit or replace the image used for the background, import
the new image into the web, then modify the theme to use the new image.
Save the theme with a new name and apply to your pages.
 
That is my question, what file do I edit to change the background colors on
the FrontPage theme called BoldStripe.
