editing registry to remove all versions of Linksys software/network card setting

Well, I've done it this time. Anyone have advise on the
pitfalls of using registry editor to remove the settings
for previous versions of installed software for Linksys
wireless notebook adapter card. I can find the various
pieces of the linksys paths/files/settings and such but am
scared to make changes or delete things. Any thoughts or
help is appreciated.
