editing 'refers to'" box in naming dynamic ranges

When naming dynamic ranges of Tushar Mehta and others I find that the
"refers to" box is overflowing and I am not able to maximize the box and see
the full entries. . I also find some problem in editing the entries in this
box bcause the entries get messed up if I use the arrows keys . I tried to
get some reference through "google search" bar in excel. Perhaps my entry in
the subject box of this google search form may not be correct. Can somebody
show me the way to the relevant references or give me solution for the
problem. .
thanks and regards.

Unfortunately, I don't think you can change the size of the names box. As to usage of arrow keys, you just can't - you have to use the mouse to position teh cursor in the right place and use delete / backspace etc and then type your change

You can't change the size of the entry box, but to use the arrow keys,
press the F2 key on the keyboard

Adding to Debra's reply, if you see "point" down on status bar, you can't use
the arrow keys.

When you hit F2, you will see "Edit" on the status bar. Now you can use the
arrow keys.

Just a visual reminder of which mode you are in before you start navigating in
the "refers to" box.

Thanks all of you, particularly MS Debra Dalgleish's suggestion of using F2.
I shall browse Mr. williams' name manager.
