editing elapsed time

Hello,

how can i get in WORD (word 2003 sp3 + WIN-XP) the elapsed time since the
document is opened ?

File > Properties > Statistics > editing time is about as good as you'll
manage.

This gives the Total Editing time, but i meant to get only the current
editing time.
can i reset this statistic field ?
