Edit time in a Word document

How do I (Disable) Editing Time in Word document properties sheet ? The
NoEditTime = "1" entry in the registry does not seem to work.

I don't believe this can be done. You can start from scratch using Save As.

Yes, the "trick" of saving as a different document name and then re-saving
as the original document name will zero the edit time and maintain a revision
level (2) status each time the action is completed. However, the "NoEditTime"
Registry entry is still posted in the MS Knowledge Base for Word 2000 which I
prefer. I do remember that I did once use some Registry entry but can't
recall the exact "trick". Also, it wasn't a Maco as I've tried to develop
that method too. It is possible that SR1 or SP3 did away with the "trick" as
the KB is pretty well outdated now.
