Edit Stored Procedures

Chris Vaughn

Does anyone know about a certain setting to edit stored procedures through
VS.NET 2003? The only options in the context menu are refresh, copy and
properties. It is my understanding that you should be able to open and edit
a stored procedure through server explorer. I am currently running Windows
XP pro, SQL 2000 and vs.net 2003 Professional Edition. Thanks in advance.

Must be a permissions thing. I just doubleclick a sp and can edit it
directly. What sort of allowed connections are you running?

You need the enterprise edition of VS.Net.

With the Pro edition, you can only edit MSDE stored proc.
