My computer shuts off 3 seconds after windows xp loads
and i log in. Os explanation for this is system ever from
previous session. Some one advised me to change the
setting in the registry to disable computer restart after
a system crash. Is there anyway to take my hard drive,
plug it in to another computer (which works, and has a
wokring os) and try to edit the registry there?

maybe in dos?

"Os explanation for this is system ever from previous session" Please
explain what you mean to say. Better still, copy the exact words from the
error message.
