Edit Outlook Attachment and Forward changes with original message

My current employer just converted from Eudora to Outlook. My coworkers -
having never used Outlook are having a problem with one issue. When they
recieved an e-mail with an attachment in Eudora they could open the
attachment, edit it, save (with out doing a save as), and then just forward
the original message and it would have the attachment with the edits.

Is there an easy way to do this in outlook? I'm used to saving the changed
attachment in the My Docs folder, forwarding the message, eliminating the
original attachment, and adding the new one from My Docs.

Not as easily. It's always a good idea to save the attachment to disk, make
the changes and reply to the original message, reattaching the changed file.
