edit dictionary button is greyed out, need activated

When I check spelling I often want to add a word that is not in the
dictionary, but that I use often, to the dictionary. The add button is greyed
out and so is the edit button under Tools, Spelling, etc.

Please help ?

It uses the same custom dictionary as Word. Go into Word, Tools | Options,
Spelling & Grammer. CLick custom dictionaries, make sure the default is on
the C: drive, then go back to Outlook and try again.
