Edit autocomplete addresses.

Outlook 2003.
As I start to type an address in the To: field of Outlook, it offers the
addresses I have entered before. This is generally handy, except for the
times I fat-fingered an address and discovered it after I sent the mail.
Where are these stored and how can I edit/delete an entry?

they are in a file with the extension NK2. You can just select the bad
addresses (use arrow keys) as you see them and press del.

What is the most likely place for this file to be hiding? I did a search
against "*.NK2" and didn't get a hit.

The NK2 file is in a hidden folder. Click Start>Run and type the following
in the Open field:

%AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook

and press OK. You should see the contents of that folder and it should
contain the NK2 file.
