Edimax 1206MF and HP Photosmart C4180

Hi,

Is there anybody who has managed to network HP Photosmart C4180 multi
function printer?

I have attempted to do it using Edimax 1206MF print server but can't make
it. The print server installs fine and can see attached HP printer without a
problem but printing stucks in a print queue with a status message
indicating that user intervention is required. I am aware that C4180 is not
listed on the Edimax compatability list but it doesn't mean that they were
testing it and found not interoperable.

The printer is OK and works just fine when attached directly to the PC.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you resolved the problem? Because I'm having similar difficulties
with PC printer connection, when I use USB extension cable. Otherwise,
when attached directly, it works fine.
