Easy picture sorting?

I'm looking for a program that will present images in a slideshow mode,
automatically advancing to the next picture at a defined interval, *and*
which will allow copy/move/delete *from within the slideshow* - PicSort
1.5 comes close, you can have a slideshow, and you can delete or copy/move
to defined folders with defined keys, but you can't copy/move from *within*
the automatically advancing slideshow. Does anyone know of such a program?

IrfanView will do this

Hi, Dud. I don't think IrfanView will do this, although I've been
mistaken before! When I set up a slideshow, pressing F8 to copy simply
exits the slideshow.

I tested this before posting ;-) What I neglected to do is explain the
procedure :-( I also use an older version (3.85) because of a trait lost in
later versions. (Jump to actual size when adjusting)

Here is the way to do it:
open the first file in IrfanView-->Shift+A(start/stop automatic viewing)
F7 and F8 then hit the proper button. The Automatic viewing speed is the
same speed that is currently set for slideshow.

Interesting program. Kept crashing. Turned out I needed the Unicode
version (XP). Then it started to purr. I think I'll keep it, but it
doesn't seem to allow file management, since it works with shortcuts to
the pictures, and not with the pictures themselves. Thanks for nudging
me into installing this, I'm going to enjoy playing with it.

Dud, you've done it again. This is as close to a freeware solution as
I'm likely to find. I didn't even know there was an Automatic Viewing
feature, as distinct from the slideshow. Very convenient. IrfanView is
amazing. Thank you for taking the time to clarify your original
suggestion. I appreciate your help.

FotoAlbum and MyAlbum share many features. Each has some capabilities that the other lacks.
FotoAlbum is great for managing images. :)
