Easy CD Creator is not that easy to remove. After you use the XP
add/remove programs control panel, you also need to remove some registry
entires. This used to be a real pain, until Roxio finally made a tool to do
it automatically. Go to their support website and look for somethjing
called "roxiozap.exe", download it, and run it.

It leaves various orphan entries in the registry. After removing it, To
tidy up, get a registry patch file, cdgone.reg, from
www.aumha.org/downloads/cdgone.zip, extract it, r-click on it and merge
it into the registry and reboot

You will then need to reinstall any burning software that you *do* use.
