Easiest way transfer Outlook information from old to new computer.

I would like to know if anyone can tell me how to transfer my settings,
contacts etc. from my old computer to my new one. I cannot get them to
connect using the file transfer wizard via wireless or CAT5 cord. I am
running Windows XP with Office 2000.

You cannot transfer your settings.
You can transfer your data.
The file you need to transfer is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's
where all the mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.

Wouldn't the Files and Settings Transfer Wizard transfer the settings?

In theory, yes.
In reality, its a mess. I stopped recommending it.
