From FaHWiki Some WUs will not get computed to the end and are being stopped with the Early Unit End message. Reasons why some WUs will get into this state are multiple - computational errors caused by CPU overclocking, poor system cooling, memory errors, ... or by the WU itself. Random EUEs are likely caused by the computers, but there are class of projects what do have higher EUE count caused by the WUs. EUEs will get partial credit.

As a general rule, an occasional EUE can be expected and is nothing to worry about. If you get more than a few, you should look more carefully at how your hardware might be causing them.
