E-mailed security updates.

I received an e-mail with a security update. I should of known better but I
opened it. After opening the file I did a search for files created that day.
One off the files created was "AOLHacker.exe" I deleted it and a few others.
Now when I try to run any program on my system I get the same error message.
"Can not find file c:\_________.exe. Check path Blah Blah Blah"

Did I delete something I shouldn't have, or is this something else? Any
suggestion on how to repair the problem other then "FDISK". Keep in mind
that I am limited to what I can do under these conditions. I can copy and
move files but that's about it.

PS I have tried to do a restore, btu ended up with the same problem.

TIA

Never open an email containing any attachemnt unless you absolutely
know what it is.
There is probably a registry entry trying to start the EXE you
deleted, probably one of the RUN keys, also look in MSCONFIG.
Try an online virus scan:

Actually, you didn't delete something you should have. The e-mail and
attachment. You infected your computer with a virus

Never open an un-solicitated e-mail attachment. Even if it appears to
be from a friend. Companies such as Microsoft NEVER send pathes by e-
amil. They will, at most, send you a link to awebsite where you can get
any patches.

Infrom people in your address book that you have been infected by a
virus and to not open attachments that appear to come from you. Most
virus's will send a copy of themselves out to addresses listed in your
address.

Get andkeep updated a good Anit-virus program. Visit some Anti-virus
websites such as Symatec or SARC for removal instruvtions of the SWEN.A
virus. Turn off your Sysmte Restore then rebbot to clear the virus from
system Restorem.
