just switching over to using outlook. i have followed the instructions for
getting e-mail to display in outlook several times. it won't work for my
personal domain/e-mail or my hotmail (not that that's a suprise!). Is there
something else in outlook I need to click to have the added e-mails displayed
as separate inboxes?

what type of mail accounts? Did you configure Hotmail as http or using the
Outlook connector?

i'm using a hotmail which i've configured as http. i'm also trying to set up
my personal e-mails that i set up via godaddy as a POP3 configuration. none
of the above seem to be working. i'm normally ok at this stuff and have
followed the suggested protocol closely...still, no e-mail being displayed!

any suggestions?

When you say "being displayed", does this mean that Outlook fetches the mail
but won't show you the contents or that it doesn't download at all? If the
latter, what happens when you try? What does the Test button in the account
properties do?

when i say "being displayed," i mean that outlook won't download my inbox at
all. i go through the procedure for setting up a new e-mail account, click
finish at the end...and nothing.

And the Test button does what?
