E-mail notification

My husband and I share the computer and both have seperate accounts. Whenever he gets new e-mail it will tell him under his name on the Welcome Screen.....however it does not do this for me. We both use Outlook Express and have e-mail accounts through our local Road Runner service. Does anyone know how I can turn this feature on for my account??
 
Tweak Ui has a setting for it, at the bottom "Logon"
click on the + , email notification check for all users.
