E-mail Not Marked As Read After Moving It To A Folder

On my home system, if I click on an unread e-mail, read it in the reading
pane and then drag the e-mail to a folder for storage, it marks the e-mail as
read once it's been placed in the folder. However, if I follow the same
process on my work system, the e-mail remains as unread after being placed in
the folder. Is there a system setting difference that I am unaware of?

Right-click the gray border around the Reading pane and choose Reading Pane
Options. Compare the two PCs' settings.
