E-mail header and toolbar in Word 2003

How can I display or suppress the email header in Word 2003?

Sometimes Word displays a header with To:, Cc:, From:, etc., along with a
toolbar with buttons labeled Send a Copy, etc. I'm not sure exactly why or
when. I've looked in View / Toolbars, but I don't see anything there which
seems applicable.

How do I turn that header display and the toolbar off and on?

Thanks.

There's a button on the Standard toolbar labeled "E-mail" that toggles this;
it's also toggled by File | Send To | Mail Recipient or File | Send To |
Mail Recipient as Attachment.

Suzanne - thanks. I've never understood the interaction between OUtlook and
Word. Thanks for the explanation. (Partly because Outlook is weird in its own
way, and seems to do everything differently than most Windows programs.)

Thanks for your help tonight and on numerous other occasions. You're awfully
industrious. Is this volunteer work for you, or are you here as a Microsoft
agent? (I don't mean this to be an inappropriately nosy question. I'm just
curious.)

We're all volunteers (except for the very rare Softie--such as Anup Tawde
recently--who posts using a MSFT label). We're mostly newsgroup addicts. <g>

I don't use Outlook, but its relation to Word varies in different versions.
Some can use Word as the email editor. Outlook 2007 uses a Word clone, but
it is not hooked into Word at all (except when you call it to send emails
from Word).
