Hi. I've been creating forms in fp2000 for ages and they have alway worked when uploaded with no error message before they are uploaded. Now when I create a form with an e-mail forward I get an error message about a disk-based web - why have I suddenly started getting this? I've been on this for hours! The forms work on the web but the e-mail forwarding won't work even when I edit it directly within the uploaded site.

Many many thanks.

Reply No to removing the email address on you local machine. Are your other
forms still working?

Hi. Well what is strange is that when I created my older forms I never got the 'diskbased web' message but when I went and opened them up today (first time after several months) the message came up - all very odd. Where has it suddenly come from - I've been into tools and fpse are activated.

I've just managed to get the new forms working by editing them from the website - i changed the e-mail address to my hosting address - info.a8creative.co.uk rather than a sub-address (e-mail address removed). At least I'm receiving e-mail now - but why is this disk-based message suddenly coming up when I try and edit them on my pc?

Many host have started to configure their mail servers to only process email
generated from a web site to only be delivered to addresses within the web
site domain or the host's domain.

Ok, if you are telling your forms to send to an email
rather than a csv or text file, your website has to be
running on a web server (re:IIS) with the mail settings
configured. When you submit the form in the current
setting, it fails because it doesnt know how to send to
the specified e-mail
